Reba Cobb Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Raynes Funeral Home - Eleanor on Mar. 19, 2026.
Reba Marie Cobb, 58, of Millwood passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026 at C.A.M.C. General hospital. Reba Cobb was a woman that exuded child-like faith in all aspects of her life. She loved to tell stories and laugh, and wanted to make others laugh as well. She could melt the hardest of hearts with her hugs and brighten the darkest corners with her smile. Her innocence and child-like wonder made an impression on strangers and friends alike. Her compassion was made known in her giving spirit and hospitality and cooking meals. She was devoted to her friends, family, and most of all to Jesus.

Born June 5, 1967, she was the daughter of the late Thurmond T. Baldwin and Ella White Baldwin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Larry Baldwin and Richard Baldwin.

Survivors include her loving husband of 39 years, Jim Cobb; her daughter, Ashley (Joseph) Turley of Cross Lanes; her son, Anthony Cobb (Monica Crouse) of Cross Lanes; her grandchildren, Christian Cobb and Lila Turley; her brothers, Ted (Billie) Baldwin, and Timmy (Michelle) Baldwin; her sisters, Lou Baldwin, Sharon Baldwin, and Brenda (Danny) Rutherford; her sister-in-law, Tina Baldwin; as well as extended family and friends.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the Neuroscience ICU Staff of C.A.M.C. General for their professional and compassionate care.

In keeping with her loving and generous spirit, Reba gave the gift of life through organ, tissue, and cornea donation.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 6:30 P.M. on Monday, March 23, 2026 in the Main Sanctuary of Maranatha Fellowship Church, St. Albans, with Pastor Randy Stanley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
