Reba Ann Cornwell

Reba Ann (Call) Cornwell, age 89, one of the sweetest christians God ever created was welcomed home to heaven on November 15, 2025, in Lapeer, MI. She was born in Murray, KY on November 11, 1936. Reba loved her Lord and singing hymns. Her favorite hymn was It Is Well With My Soul, and it was the last hymn played in her room when the Lord called her home.
Reba was generous in her time with her children and grandchildren. She was kind to everyone she met, always having a smile on her face. She was quick to listen and slow to speak, always ready to hear your story. She loved animals, and had a lap for any cat or dog that wanted to be petted.
Reba is now in the presence of her Savior, with no more sickness, no more pain, for the former things of all passed away.
Reba is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Mark) Cooper, Jennifer (Eric) Diehl, and Laura (Bill) Johnson; also many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family members who were honored to love her and be loved by her.
Reba was preceded in death by husbands James G. Habermel and John A. Cornwell.
Reba will be laid to rest at Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 W. Third St., Dayton, OH 45428, on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel in Lapeer.
