Rebecca A. "Becky" Sipe, 73, of Warrensburg, Missouri, formerly of Sweet Springs, died Monday, Sept. 1, 2025, at Ridge Crest Nursing Center in Warrensburg.
Private graveside services will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Sweet Springs. The family request that instead of sending flowers that you consider a donation to Compass Health or Three Rivers Hospice in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home. Born July 17, 1952, in La Porte, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Robert Joseph Bernacchi and Patricia Lou Baumgartner Bernacchi. Becky was raised in La Porte where she was a 1971 graduate of La Porte High School. During her working career she was an original owner of Busy B's Day Care, was an assistant manager of Save-A-Lot grocery store, both in Sweet Springs, and then spent the remainder of her career in food service. For the last 10 years, Becky has lived in Warrensburg and was a member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Lee's Summit.
She is survived by two children, Chris Sipe (Amy) and Mindy Haesemeyer (Justin), all of Lee's Summit; a grandson, Mason Sipe; three brothers, John Anderson of Arizona, Bobby Bernacchi of Florida and Billy Bernacchi of Indiana; as well as many other extended family members.
In addition to her parents, Becky was preceded in death by her stepmother, Ruth Bernacchi; and one brother, Tim Bernacchi.
