Rebecca May "Becky" (Honse) Bowers, 79, of Latrobe, passed away on Friday, Nov. 14, 2025, at her home. Born March 17, 1946, in Latrobe, she was the daughter of the late Earl Honse and Audra A. (Young) Harrold. Becky was a member of Holy Family Church, Latrobe. Prior to her retirement, she was employed at the Westmoreland County Blind Association. Becky was passionate about animals and loved caring for her own pets and contributing to many shelters and rescues. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Bowers; two sisters, Ruth Ann Peters (Ken) and Barbara Sirnic; and an infant brother, Ross Thomas Honse. Becky is survived by one son, Joshua D. Bowers, and his wife, Jessica Schmeltz, of E. McKeesport; one daughter, Jennifer Bowers, of Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025, at LOPATICH-BRINKER FUNERAL HOME LLC, 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. A funeral liturgy will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025, in the funeral home with the Rev. E. George Saletrik officiating. Private interment will be at Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
