Rebecca Faye Copeland (nee Glasgow), of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at the age of 82. Dear daughter of the late John and Genevie Glasgow; Beloved wife of the late Verlyn Copeland; devoted mother of Robert (Christine) Copeland, Michael (Christan) Copeland, David (Rachael) Copeland, and Sandra (John) Daly; loving grandmother of Joshua Thompson, Phillip Copeland, Lauren Perry, Megan (Chris) Briegel, Steven Davis, Lily Davis, Helaina (Michael) Hassall, Rhiannon Copeland, Evangeline Copeland, Lexie Welch, Evan Lampe, Lillian Copeland, Lydia Daly, and John Daly; dear sister of Jewel Dean Shader and Christine Clifton.
Rebecca was married to Verlyn, the love of her life, for 49 years before his passing. Together they shared a life filled with love, music, and adventure, enjoying dancing to his music, traveling to all 50 states, and spending cherished time together as dedicated parents. She worked as an Avon sales representative for more than 40 years, a role she truly loved, as it allowed her to travel to people’s homes, sell makeup, and connect with others, something that came naturally to her. Rebecca never met a stranger. She was a kind, friendly, and warm-hearted woman who enjoyed spending time at the casino and was known for her genuine love of people. She delighted in watching movies, especially Westerns, All My Children and General Hospital, and she loved Elvis, John Wayne, and dancing. Rebecca was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
