Franklin – Rebecca Marshall "Becky" Fowler, 71, widow of the late Johnny L. Fowler, passed away October 11, 2025, in her home with her family by her side. Born on October 15, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Herbert Marshall, Sr., and Jeanette Ellis Marshall. She was also predeceased by a brother, Alfred Herbert Marshall, Jr., a granddaughter, Giana Scott, and a special sister-in-law, Brenda Marshall.

Becky was a 1973 graduate of Windsor High School and a member of Elevate Church.

She grew up on the Marshall dairy farm, where she enjoyed riding horses and living the country life. Becky had a love for crafts, cooking, and caring for others. She especially loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Known for her warm heart and her kitchen always being open, she loved to cook and made sure everyone was well fed.

Left to cherish her memory are three daughters, Jennifer Keech (Jason), Jessica Scott (Eric), and April Eure (Jake), all of Franklin; a brother, Rodney V. Marshall of Elmira, NY; and eight grandchildren, Kayla Keech, Trenton Eure, Kodie Keech, Becca Eure, Ian Scott, Ezria Scott, Anani Scott, and Gemma Scott.

Also left to cherish her memory are nieces Amy Salvitti and Wendy Freeman. She affectionately referred to them as her "daughters of her heart." Their children, Alexis Salvitti, Skylar Freeman, and Reed Freeman, she claimed as her grandchildren. She was their "Beck Beck."

A Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM Friday, October 17, 2025, in Wright Funeral Home with Pastor Thomas-Steele Carr officiating. Burial will follow in Southampton Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to The Elevate Church Building Fund, 23486 Deerpath Trail, Windsor, VA 23487.
