Rebecca Moreno Garcia,54, went to be with the Lord on December 12, 2022. Rebecca was born on March 27, 1968, to parents, Jose and Josie Moreno in Sinton, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Josie Herrera and mother, Dianna Moreno; paternal grandmother, Argentina Reyes Lamas; grandfather, Eusebio Lamas; sister, Mary Helen Longoria of Corpus Christi, Tx.; aunt, Dora Galvan; uncle, Pete Moreno; cousin, Jose "Pelingo" Lamas;
Rebecca is leaving behind her loving husband of 18 years, Jose Garcia; son, Raymond (Shannon) Adame of Beeville, Tx.; daughter, Erene Garcia of Beeville, Tx.; father, Jose Angel Moreno Sr.; siblings, Melina (Jaime) Jimenez of Woodville, Tx., Melissa and Efrain Alverez of Hitchcock, Tx., Johnny Asebedo of Nebraska, Pedro Asebedo of Nebraska, Romiro Moreno of Ingleside, Tx., Jose Angel Moreno Jr of Queens, New York, Yvette (David Max) Vasquez of Ingelside, Tx., Gabriel Jaime Moreno of Killeen Tx., Lydia (Christopher Ryan) Galvan of Aransas Pass, Tx. numerous Cousins, Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, and Nephews; Eight grandchildren, Cassiano Adame, Jayden Aguilar, Zeplynn Adame, Lorenzo Salas, Nathan Adame, Christopher Garcia, Atticus and Jace Fulghum.
She fought a long courageous battle of cancer. She loved crafting, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends. She made sure to be involved in all her children's and grandchildren's activities and every family function. She had the biggest heart and always wanted to help everyone. One thing about Rebecca was that she was always there no matter what. She will be greatly missed by everyone who crossed her path.
Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. with the Funeral Service beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass. Interment to follow at Prairie View Cemetery in Aransas Pass.
