I worked with Josh and Rebecca for several years as their Edgar Allan Poe performer. Only those two wonderful oddballs could make such good friends in such a unique way. I had an opportunity to meet Oonah as well at those October shows. Josh and Rebecca were immensely creative and unfailingly kind, sweet, and generous with me. I counted myself lucky to have met such uniquely creative people and I looked forward to working with them every October. They would share funny moments via text with me to complain about lockdown or frustrations with trying to organize the show. I remember Josh helping me lug my traveling wardrobe through the streets and alleyways of Salem to get to the performance with only minutes to spare. Then I would see Rebecca all smiles and energy as she checked in people and made sure I had hot tea and snacks. My heart goes out to Oonah and their family members. I cannot believe that such bright and shining people will no longer be here to light up our world.

Josh and Becky will be sorely missed. This is a terrible loss to their many friends and the Salem arts community. Please help the family take care of little Oonah: The family asks that donations are made to Oonah DeVries and mailed to her c/o North Shore Bank, 73 Lafayette St., Salem, MA 01970.

As a Swampscott Art Association member and artist I have used your parents a number of times to do copies for me. They were very nice people. I also met you a number of times and have seen some of your lovely art work. Please know that I will continue to send loving thoughts your way. Love, Judy
