Rebecca Ann Kuntz, beloved mother, Nana, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully with her family around her on October
29th, 2025, at the age of 75 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born on February 27, 1950 in Carbondale, Illinois. She spent most of her young life in Indiana and then moved to Arkadelphia, Arkansas with her twin sister Betsy, to attend Ouachita Baptist University.
She was known for her generous heart, quick-wit, unconditional love and the way she made everyone feel like someone special. Her heart was her greatest gift, and she poured it into her family. To Becky, family was everything. She prayed daily for all her family and friends by name. Her home was open to anyone at any time, always so hospitable. The only thing she loved more than family was her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She lived her life faithfully for Him and her life reflected it.
While her kids were growing up she taught Sunday School and was always the chaperone for all the youth events and trips. She played softball on the coed softball team for Second Baptist Church for years and loved every minute of it. She was quite competitive; she proudly shared that they rarely lost a game. She never missed a single one of her kids' games or events. She raised her kids to love Jesus and love people. They were her greatest joys.
Becky loved Superman, her books and novels, horses, the beach, the moon, and beautiful scenery. She loved watching her kids and grandkids do what they love - always their biggest fan and supporter. Her joy could fill a room and her laughter always made everyone around her smile. Her faith and kindness inspired everyone who knew her. Anyone who knew Becky knew she was the kindest and most generous person there ever was. To know her was to love her.
She is survived by her two loving children - James Kuntz and his wife, Jenn; and Robyn Campbell and her husband, Ian; her grandchildren, who adored her - Gracey James, Grayson, Karrah, and Kallen Campbell; and her siblings - Don Steele, Sandy Williams, and Betsy Danner, all of whom will carry her love with them forever in their hearts until they join her again in heaven. - She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Bernice Steele.
A celebration of her life will be held on November 16th from 2-4pm at Second Baptist Church, 815 S 12th St, Arkadelphia, AR 71923, in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. There will be a time of fellowship and visitation followed by a time of remembrance at 3:00. Please feel free to dress casually (or even in your favorite Superman shirt).
If you wish to send plants or flowers, you can send them to 101 Twin Oaks Drive Arkadelphia, AR 71923.
Becky's memory will live on through the laughter she sparked, the love she gave, and the countless lives she touched.
Written by her granddaughter, Gracey James Campbell.
