Rebecca “Becky” Angela Meadlo, 73, of Terre Haute passed away January 21, 2025, in Union Hospital. She was born on April 29th, 1950, in Terre Haute to Lorenzo and Virginia Young. Becky was an LPN working in the nursing home and walk-in clinic settings. She also was a homemaker. She was a member of the Northside Wesleyan Church, where she was very active. She played the piano in church starting from the age of 12. Becky had an infectious laugh that everyone recognized. She loved her grandchildren and loved to spend time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Raymond “Rex” Meadlo (d.9/12/2011), and brothers, James Young, and David Young. Becky is survived by her children, Michelle Meadlo, Von Meadlo, and Rayleene Hickman (Steve), brother, Stephen Young (Linda), sisters, Helen Clouse (Bill), Vangie Stewart, Debbie Price (Steve), sister-in-law, Phyllis Young, several nieces and nephews, and grandchildren, Austin, Bryant, Crimson, and Drista Hickman. Services for Becky will be on Monday, January 27, 2025 at 1 PM in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 N. 3rd St., West Terre Haute, Indiana, 47885 visitation is scheduled from 11 AM until service time on Monday. Pastor Adam Power will officiate. The burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Samaritan's Purse and/or to the global partners of the Wesleyan Church. Online condolences can be left at www.Fitzpatrick-funeralhome.com
