Dee Forester Ruter
February 18, 2025
Becky and her family moved from Waco, Texas when she was maybe a young teen, and lived with my family for some time before they found a house in Shelby, NC near us. While they lived with us, I remember her artwork, and the paper dolls and clothes she made for me. She was so talented! Prayers for comfort for the whole family! My condolences to Lloyd, Glenda, Garry and Mark.
Love, Dee Forester Ruter, for the Forester family

Lucas and I stayed over for a weekend so that the parents could get away. I remember sharing my love for Batman and Iron Man.
We brought a copy of "The Dark Knight" and watched it with her. She thoroughly enjoyed it, but said she had an even better movie for us, showing us "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen." After watching, she gave me the book, which I read in its entirety by the end of the weekend.
She also took us to the library and bought me the novel based on Disney´s "Bolt" which I also read probably dozens of times. She always wanted to find things to share with us, and I remember we always connected when it came to reading.
I love you, Granny. I´ll see you again.
