Rebecca Lynn Morrow, loving wife, mother and MeMaw went to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday February 24, 2024. Becca was born on December 31, 1958 in
Pasadena, TX to Herman and Kaye Hairston of
Houston, TX.
Becca is preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Kaye Hairston and her sister, Loretta Porterfield. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 ½ years Mark Morrow as well as her children: son Guy Morrow and wife Shelley, daughter Lisa Crawford and husband Ricky, and daughter Amanda Roder and husband Joseph as well as her cherished grandchildren: Elliot Jones, Chad Morrow, Shelby, Ryan, and Kayelee Crawford. She also leaves behind 2 brothers, Wayne Hairston and wife Candy and Keith Hairston and wife Rhonda, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Becca was a longtime resident of
Houston, TX until 2017 when she and Mark moved to
Milano, TX to enjoy the country life and retirement. In Milano she enjoyed spending time outside in her pasture feeding the beloved donkey Eli, hanging out with Becca's cousins, and enjoying a blizzard down at Dairy Queen. She enjoyed when her grandchildren would come up for a short weekend or a long week when they could play "Come and Get" on the riding toys in the pasture, going bowling, going to hockey games, cuddling up on the couch watching movies, spending time with family camping and so many more things that brought MeMaw joy.
Becca loved participating in the Milano Fourth of July Parade and the Christmas parade every year. She was an avid Texas Ranger fan and was over the moon when they won the World Series in 2023.
Becca loved Jesus and her family and made sure to put both first before herself. She is a loving soul that will be truly missed by her family and friends.
