Rebecca R. Niermeyer, 66, of Crown Point, IN passed away on January 28, 2025. She was born in Chicago, IL on November 29, 1958.

After graduating from Crown Point High School, Rebecca went on to earn her master's degree in education. She spent the majority of her teaching career with Tri-Creek School Corporation as an elementary and junior high school teacher and retired after 31 years of service.

She enjoyed spending quality time with friends and family and was a loving daughter, sister, mother, and friend. Rebecca always loved traveling to tropical destinations as well as spending time in her backyard paradise.

She is survived by her mother Donna Janowicz; her sons, Adam Mosier (Suzanna) and Jacob Niermeyer; brother Ronald Janowicz (Janice); niece Samantha Kurth (Sean); nephew Nathan Janowicz; great-niece Ella Kurth.

Private service for family to be held at Historic Maplewood Cemetery.
