Rebecca Lynn Presnall Pair passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at the age of 60 from a long and courageous battle with kidney cancer. Becky was born and raised in Lufkin and has spent the last 17 years in Wylie. She graduated from Lufkin High School and went on to graduate from Stephen F. Austin University with a degree in music. She was a member of her high school band, choir, theater, and twirling programs. In addition, she was very active in her church and music groups. Becky was preceded in death by her parents James and Martha Nell Presnall, along with her father-in-law Kenneth Pair, Aunt Garvice Minard and sister-in-law Jimmie Lou Presnall. She is survived by her husband Keith Pair whom she married on November 6, 1993. Becky has two children, Ashlyn and Zach of Wylie. In addition, she is survived by her brother Scott Presnall and his wife Cheryl, mother-in-law Beverly Pair, brother-in-law Kirby Pair and wife Mary, sister-in-law Karla Pair along with numerous nieces and nephews. Becky was a loving wife and mother who cherished spending time with her family. For many years, it was following Ashlyn and Zach to softball and baseball tournaments every weekend from before sun-up to midnight on many occasions. Our tournament travels took us to Florida many summers and Becky enjoyed the beach. As a result of our Florida travels, we continued to travel to Gulf Shores for family vacations. Becky was also a big fan of cruises. She got more enjoyment from hosting and entertaining family and friends for holidays and celebrations. Becky loved to cook and bake but was not fond of the clean-up afterwards. But once the clean-up was done, Becky was one of the first to grab the board or card games and gather the family around the dining room table. She always was very selective of her team members because she played to win. Becky was very passionate about her work. She spent her last 9 years as an Administrative Coordinator and Support for the VP of Development at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She had a great sense of humor and was very quick witted. Becky was also an accomplished singer. Becky's personality, smile and love of life had a great impact on everyone she touched and will be missed by family and friends. The many memories Becky provided us will live on in our hearts. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Kidney Cancer Program at UT Southwestern – http://.engage.utsouthwestern.edu/kcpdonate or First Baptist Lufkin – firstlufkin.com. Services entrusted to Charles W. Smith & Sons of Sachse, Texas.

I just tonight learned of Becky's passing. I'm so sorry for your loss. I have so many wonderful memories of our time together in band and choir. That girl had more talent than anyone I knew. I'll miss her.

To Becky's Family & Friends,
It's always hard to say "Goodbye", especially to someone as wonderful & caring as Becky. I'd prefer to say, "Until we meet again".

I went down memory lane remembering this moment from April 9, 2009, where I gave her a recommendation on LinkedIn, recalling our time together since 1996: I interviewed Becky to be my Assistant and brought her into A. T. Kearney years ago. She was excellent then and I'm sure she is now! She is very good at all the organizational skills as you would expect. She is excellent at being self-motivated and pushing ahead with great ideas! I've watched her proudly rise through the ranks and demonstrate her finer skills. I'd hire her again in a minute. I still remember her interview. I had such a good feeling about hiring her and couldn't wait for her to join us. So glad she said, Yes.

Becky always said back then & I'm sure she is looking down on all of us now, still saying, I've got this. She will be deeply missed, her smile & the sparkle in her eyes.

Dear Becky, Just wanted to drop you a note and let you know that everyone is sad but will be alright by the Grace of the Lord. I know you're enjoying your new home in heaven. When my Dad's best friend was ready to leave for heaven, he told his wife that my Dad, who left for heaven in 2005, came to him and said, "It's beautiful over there." I truly believe it because you could always trust my Dad. I will always remember you as a beautiful and remarkable person and look forward to seeing you when I get there. Anyway, I was thinking of you and your family and many friends tonight and wanted to touch base. Sincerely from your friend, Denise.

To Becky's Family - Becky will always hold a place in my heart. Her sweetness, smile, and infectious laugh are, indeed, very precious memories I hold dear. Back during our twirling days and those long hours of practice, it was usually her laughter that got us through the rough parts...laughter and her "lucky slip". That lucky slip helped us bring home lots of medals for the Band and the twirlers! Loved her so much!
