Rebecca Ann Salinas, 41, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away on December 12, 2025, due to a seizure disorder. She was born in Ada, Oklahoma, on July 18, 1984, to Ricardo M. Salinas, Jr. and Brenda G. Salinas. She was known as “Becca” by her moma.

Becca’s only child, daughter Kaitlyn, was born in December of 2001. Becca graduated from Ada High School in 2002. She graduated from Pima Medical University in Colorado with an associate degree of medical assistant in April of 2007. She held many different customer service positions until 2011 when disabilities prevented her from working.

Becca married Elzie Charles Compton on November 6, 2019.

Becca never met a stranger and always took the time to make someone smile. She was a strong witness for our Lord Jesus and had no fear when reaching out to the lost. Her work on earth is finished.

Becca was preceded in death by her father, Ricardo Salinas, Jr.; paternal grandparents, Dahlia and Richard Salinas; maternal grandparents, Lucille and Cecil Miller; great paternal grandparents, Gabriella and Trinidad Moreno; aunts: Janet Humphreys, Alice Bonney, Debra and Bryan Whitehead and Ruben Salinas.

Becca is survived by her daughter, Kaitlyn Delgado and Kaitlyn’s father, RJ Delgado; husband, Elzie Compton; brother, Ricardo M. Salinas III (aka Trae); moma, Brenda Gossett; numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, and numerous friends.

Becca is loved and missed by all who knew her. A daughter is a little girl that grows up to be a friend. Rest in peace, Becca, while we wait on Jesus to return for us. You, Becca, are forever in our hearts.

Visitation will be on Friday, January 2, 2026, noon to 6:00 p.m., at Choctaw Church of the Nazarene, 1100 Harper St., Choctaw, Oklahoma 73020.

A funeral service will be on Saturday, January 3, 2026, 1:00 p.m., at Choctaw Church of the Nazarene.
