Rebecca S. Stone

Rebecca S. Stone, age 68, of Marion, Indiana, passed away peacefully at 11:36 am on Thursday, November 6, 2025, in her home.
Born on January 23, 1957, in Marion, she was the daughter of Bertram and Leona (Voland) Cummings. Rebecca was a proud graduate of Mississinewa High School and had a love for British television shows, which brought her great joy.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Erika (Cy) Floriana of Marion and Joseph (Heather) Cummings, and daughters-in-law, Britainy Cummings and Jillian Pavlick. She was a devoted grandmother to many grandchildren. Rebecca is also survived by her sister, Brenda McNutt; brother, Daniel Cummings; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.
Rebecca was united in marriage to William Stone, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Bertram and Leona Cummings; her children, Robert Cummings and Jessica Cummings; and her sisters, Cynthia Cummings, Sandra Cummings, Roberta Floriana, and Cathy Cummings.
The family will have a memorial visitation from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Church of God of Prophecy, 906 N. 10th St., Gas City, IN.
Immediately following visitation, a celebration of Rebecca's life will begin at 5:00 pm with Pastor David Morris officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
