Rebecca Chapman Stroth, born October 1, 1947, to the late Edmund Gregory Chapman, Jr. and Betty Ruth McClung Chapman, passed away on January 8, 2025.
Rebecca was a graduate of Jackson High School and attended the University of Miami in Florida and Georgetown College. She spent her life in the printing business at the Jackson Publishing Company and Liberty Press.
She is survived by her sisters, Deborah "Debbie" Woolum Biggs, Melissa Lynn Heine, and Sarah Chapman Hubbard; aunt, Janice McClung Osborne; two nephews, Gregory Chapman (Deisa) Woolum and Donald Keith (Heather) Woolum, Jr.; two nieces, Margaret Wilson Dallimore and Marion Elizabeth Wilson; as well as seven great-nephews and nieces.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Edmund Chapman Stroth; her daughter, Amanda Lynn Auxier; and three brothers-in-law, Roger Biggs, James Heine, and Tom Hubbard.
During Becky's last hours, her childhood friends, Sally Jones McNamara, Juliana Lambert Luhrman, and Crystal Kiehl Wilson were at her bedside. Her great Christian friend, Janie Karl, was reading scripture and prayers before she entered the Kingdom of Heaven.
Becky was a member of the former Christ United Methodist Church and actively involved in religious productions the church offered to the community. Becky's greatest love in life was her family, her host of friends, and her love of acting in local theatre.

Due to inclement weather, a burial service and a Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Online condolences may be sent to .
