Rebecca Williams, 48, of Justin, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, January 18, 2025, in Justin.
The funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur, with burial at Aurora cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Justin Paulk will officiate. Pallbearers will include Camron Horton, Dylan Horton, Austin Horton, Shannon Swayzer, Oscar Juarez, Tyler Foster, Jared Foster, and Trouper Arnold.
Rebecca was born May 1, 1976, to Eddie and Flacky Jo (Goodin) Cooper in Seymour, Texas. She was united in marriage to Mark Horton on September 16, 2024, in Denton County. She graduated from Olney High School and was an entrepreneur and owner of Witch Water Coffee and Flying High Pizza. Rebecca lived her life committed to making the world a better place. Rebecca’s passion for creating a better world reached far and wide. She had an innate ability to make people feel heard, valued, and loved. Rebecca’s legacy of kindness and love will continue to inspire all who knew and loved her, she was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Billy Williams II.
Those left behind to cherish her memory, are her husband, Mark Horton of Justin; her sons, Camron, Dylan, and Austin; her mother, Norma Cooper; her sisters, Linda Giner, Edie Acuna, Jeanie Esparza, Carol Mitchell, and Lorena Plant; her brother’s, Brian Welty, and Dwayne Welty; numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and host of friends.
