Rebecca Anne Wilmeth 31, was born February 19, 1993, in Salinas, California to James and Michele Wilmeth. Rebecca passed away on August 19, 2024, in Hobbs, New Mexico.
Becca was one of those people that never met a stranger. If you knew her then you cannot help but to recall her infectious smile. She was an intelligent, articulate young woman that enjoyed holding conversations and just catching up with people. It never failed if you went somewhere with her, she was going to see someone she knew. While she would not hesitate to call you out if you were wrong, she would give anything she had if you needed it. Becca loved her family, friends, and animals. She just recently received her associate’s degree, she always strived to educate herself and grow as a person. The world is dimmer without her here.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons Theo Zamora and Eli Townes and her parents and family, including Jim and Sheila Wilmeth, Michele and Tony Cope, Alex and Lisa Zamora, siblings Eric Wilmeth, Matthew Wilmeth, twin sister Emily Christenson (Caleb), Shantel Quezada, and numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled soon. All arrangements are through Griffin Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to donate to their local animal rescue agency.
