We served with Reed and Bev in the Prison Ministry mission and served the same day as they did so we got to know them quite well. We loved being around them and thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them and learn from them. So sorry that you lost both of your parents so close together.

I first met Elder Nelson on March 18, 1963. he joined a group of three other elders. From left to right, Elder Airth, Elder Nixon, Elder Nelson, and Elder Roundy. we were missionaries of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day Saints in the country of chile in a town called La Cisterna. Although he was never my companion as we understand companionships today,we worked together as a foursome off and on. I grew to love Elder Nelson as he was a tremendous help to me as a young missionary at the time. Our paths would cross from time to time as they do in missionary work. I also remember talking to him on occasions at Davis high school when I would go there to talk to students. Even though you don´t know me I send my love and my condolences to the family and I am eternally grateful for the opportunity of working with and along side Elder Nelson
