Reggie Clinton Van Winkle

Reggie VanWinkle age 85, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday Nov. 11, 2025. Reggie was a proud US Army veteran, he enjoyed fishing and camping, and spending time with his family, and grandchildren. Reggie was born in Jackson County Kentucky to the late Omer and Martha Coyle VanWinkle, he was also preceded in death by his daughter Debra Ann VanWinkle and two sisters: Morena Johnson, and Kathy Cunagin. Reggie was also a longtime member of Silver Creek Baptist Church, and he was retired from IBM in Lexington.
Reggie is survived by his wife of 59 years Freda Powell VanWinkle, his daughter Tammy Rene' (William) Lamb, a grandson Justin Matthew Lamb, granddaughter Hillary Carol Lamb, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Saturday Nov. 15, 2025, at Lakes Funeral Home at 1:00 pm with Rev. Jimmy Ashcraft officiating. Burial will be in the Berea Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Justin Lamb, Cole VanWinkle, Logan Angel, Matt Coffey, Jackie Paul Johnson, and Dwight Brown. Visitation will be Saturday from 11 am – 1 pm at Lakes Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Compassionate Care Center.
