Regina Marie (Whitesell) Buckley
November 29, 1968 — May 21, 2025
Regina M. “Jeannie” Buckley, 56, of Spotsylvania, VA, born and raised in Upper Darby, PA, she also called Brea, CA; Tooele, UT; and Kent Island, MD home over the years, passed away on May 21, 2025.
Born in Upper Darby, PA in 1968, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Sarah (née Grimes) Whitesell. She was a loving wife of her husband Joe for 33 years.
Throughout her life, she held a variety of jobs, but found special joy working for the Anaheim Angels Fan Experience and Disneyland, where her love of people, Goofy, and vibrant personality truly shined. Later in life, she worked as a cashier, cherishing the opportunity to connect with customers and brighten their day. She had a creative spirit and loved arts and crafts, especially making seasonal and holiday wreaths that brought joy to those around her. Above all, her heart belonged to her only grandson, Baker, who was the light of her life and her greatest joy.
Jeannie was the beloved wife of Joe Buckley; loving mother of Amber Buckley, Joey Buckley, and Melody Buckley; adoring grandmother of Baker Buckley; and caring sister of Robert Whitesell, Theresa Angeline, Catherine Kobylarz, Maryanne Brown, and James Whitesell. She is preceded in death by her loving brother Joseph Whitesell.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation at 12:00 PM and a Memorial Service to follow at 1:00 PM Thursday, June 5, 2025 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, 610-449-0300.
