Funeral services for Regina Suzette Meredith Chambola will be held at 2:00 PM. Thursday, December 21, 2023, from the sanctuary of Fellowship Baptist Church, Columbia, Louisiana, with Bro. Chris Bennett officiating. Interment will follow at Old Bethel Cemetery, Clarks, Louisiana. The family will receive visitors on Thursday prior to the service from noon to 2:00 PM, at the church.
Suzette was born January 30, 1964, in Monroe, Louisiana and she passed from this life on December 16, 2023, at her home in Kelly, Louisiana. She was a free-spirit and lived life to the fullest. Suzette was a truck driver who drove log trucks the majority of the time but sometimes she drove cross country as well. She loved Harley Davidson motorcycles and owned three of her own, a Fat Boy, a Softail, and a Sportster. Suzette loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Her granddog, "Tido" had a special place in her heart and she spoiled him rotten. Suzette was preceded in death by her son, Lavell Black and her niece, CaShonda Martin.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Michael Chambola, her mother, Lynda Lovelady (Gil); her father, Charles Meredith; her children: Brandy Stephens (Charles), Thomas Black (Celina), Brandy Chambola (Justin), and Joseph Michael Chambola (Melissa); sister Charlotte Johnson; grandchildren: Emarie Black, Bristyl Black, Dakota Black (Lexie), Sadie White, Caden Arnold Black, Aubree Black, Bailey Chambola, Kenlee Chambola, Maddie Stephens, Remington Stephens, Olivia Stephens, Cadence Dilley, Aiden Guyotte, and bonus grandchild, Harper Evans; great-granddaughter, Teagan Black as well as numerous extended family members.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bill Smith, Justin Phillips, Bob Smith, Rodney Smith, Jason DeBusk, and Raymond Thomas. Honorary pallbearers are Brandon Spangler, Festus Stamper, Roddy White, Clayton Pardue, and Cody Bailes.
