Regina Lynn Dotson

Regina Lynn McCoy Dotson, age 59, of the Hickory Star Community in Maynardville, TN, passed away Thursday afternoon, November 21, 2024, in the comfort of her home. She was born January 17, 1965, in Lorain, OH. Preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Ricky Dean Dotson; father, Donald McCoy; mother, Wilma Helmandollar Blackburn; and sister, Rhonda York.
Regina was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time at home on Norris Lake and traveling with her late husband and family, music, drawing, sewing, crafts, cooking, talking with and spending time with family and friends. Known as "Grammy", her greatest joy in this world was spending time with and having tea with her granddaughter, Hannah, the light of her life.
She is survived by daughter, Kristin Nicole Pridemore and husband Glen; son, Kenneth William Dotson and Karrie Southerland; daughter, Victoria Dotson; granddaughter, Hannah Elizabeth Morgan; sisters, Debbie Moore, Donna Jordan, Theresa McCoy Joseph, Linda McCoy; brothers, Jason Blackburn, Donald McCoy; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at Graves Family Cemetery, Maynardville, Dr. Jared Graves officiating. Please meet by 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home to go with the procession. Pallbearers: Kenneth Dotson, Glen Pridemore, Jason Blackburn, Zane Dotson, Josh Irwin, Kristin Pridemore.
