Regina Leifheit Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ripley Funeral and Cremation Services - Ripley on Jul. 31, 2025.
Regina Carol Presley Leifheit entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi, surrounded by those who loved her most.

A service celebrating Regina's beautiful life will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, August 2, 2025, in the Heritage Chapel of the Ripley Funeral Home, with Bro. Doc Shelton officiating. Visitation will be Friday evening, August 1, from 5 PM until 8 PM and will resume Saturday morning at 9 AM until the time of service. She will be laid to rest following the service in Shady Grove Cemetery with a graveside service.

Born August 20, 1970, at the Tippah County Hospital, Regina was the beloved daughter of Mr. Tom Presley and the late Judith Shelton Presley. She graduated from Ripley High School before continuing her education at Northeast Mississippi Community College and later earned her paralegal degree in Greenville, Mississippi. Smart, driven, and dedicated, Regina built a career in Tupelo, working for twelve years with McElroy Law Firm, where she was admired for her professionalism and work ethic.

Regina was a member of Palmer Baptist Church, where she was saved and baptized. Her faith remained an important part of her life. Known for her radiant personality and joyful spirit, Regina had a unique gift for making others feel welcomed and seen. Just like her bright wardrobe and sparkling jewelry, she brought color and energy into every room she entered. A true people person, she never met a stranger and found joy in connecting with others wherever she went.

Although Regina never had children of her own, her heart belonged wholly to her family. She adored her two nieces, Alanna and Lexi, whom she lovingly referred to as "My Girls." Her bond with them was unbreakable, and she cherished every moment she spent with them. She also loved being the fun Aunt to her great-niece and nephew, Trey and Emmi, always lighting up at any chance to babysit or spend time with them. Regina treasured family gatherings and special occasions, always looking forward to any opportunity to be with her loved ones and make lasting memories together.

To know Regina was to love her. Her love was shown more in her actions than words-kind, giving, and deeply devoted to those she cared for. Even in her passing, her giving spirit endured. As an organ donor, Regina gave the ultimate gift: life to others. It is no surprise to those who knew her that she would leave this world the same way she lived in it-helping people. Her legacy of love, compassion, and light will live on through the lives she saved and the many hearts she touched.

"Let your light so shine before others, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." - Matthew 5:16

Regina's light shined brightly here on earth-and now, it shines even brighter in Heaven.

Those left to cherish her memory include her father, Mr. Tom Presley(Bobbie), one sister, Cara Roberson(Gary), two nieces, Alanna Leifheit and Lexi Page, a great niece and nephew, Emmi and Trey Lawrence, her aunt, Jan Richardson(Billy), her uncle, Don Shelton(Patti), and a host of cousins, family, and friends.

In addition to her mother, Judi Presley, she is also preceded in death by one sister, Carol Ann Presley.

The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff of North Mississippi Medical Center, and North Mississippi Home health for their care and compassion shown during Regina's illness, along with her family and friends that were there for her hero walk and offered them countless prayers during this time.

Donations can be directed to Le Bonhuers Children's Hospital in her memory.
