Regina Ann McCort, 68, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at Emerald Pointe Nursing and Rehab in Barnesville, Ohio. She was born on February 7, 1957 in Barnesville, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late George B. and Mary Ellen (Butler) Clark.

Regina worked at the Barnesville Hospital as a sterilization technician. She also worked at the bell nursing home in Morristorn, Ohio as a nurses aid. She also did some private home care as well. Regina was a Christian and was a member of Bethesda Church of the Nazarene. She loved taking care of others.

She is survived by her son, David R. (Laurie) McCort; grandchildren, Dalynn (Noah) Warrick, Larry Harvey, Riot McCort, and Rogue McCort; great grandson, Percy; sister, Linda S. Moore; brother, George (Karen) Clark Jr; and brother-in-law, Dennis Hickenbottom.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Hubert "Frog" McCort; loving daughter, Carolyn A. McCort; sister Evelyn D. Hickenbottom; brother, Roger G. Clark; and brother-in-law, Roger Moore.

Regina loved life, God, and certainly her children. They were a precious gift. She shined like a star whenever she spoke of them.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from 3:00pm until the time of the funeral service at 5:00pm with Reverend Cheryl Norris officiating at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
