Regina Nowak, of Doylestown, PA died on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at her home. She was 94.
She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Nowak.
Regina and her twin sister (who died shortly after birth) were born January 26, 1931, in Turopin, Volyn Oblast, Poland, (after WWII this part of Poland was taken over by Soviets and made part of Ukraine). Regina and her husband owned a farm in the town of Przemysl in western Poland and in September 1971 moved to the United States. Regina and Edward moved back to Poland briefly in the late 1970s but then returned to America. She was the daughter of the late Henryk Rosypal and Marianna Rupnik Rosypal, sister of the late Emilia Rosypal, Teresa Romaniewicz of Poland and Danuta M. Kaczmarek of Vernon Hills, IL.
Regina worked for many years alongside her sister Emilia at ChemFab in Doylestown. She later served her parish of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Doylestown as a housekeeper. Regina loved working in her garden, going fishing, entertaining family and guests with home cooking and she especially loved animals. Just about every horse that she ever saw reminded her of Baciar, the family horse in Poland, even if they looked nothing like him. Everyone knows how much she loved her cats and how she doted upon them. In retirement she and her sister Emilia were inseparable, living together even though they owned separate homes.
She is survived by her brother Eugene Rosypal and his wife Jolanta of Lombard, IL, and their children: Regina Nofziger; Elizabeth Miller; Yuri Rosypal and Michael Rosypal and their spouses and children; and her nieces and nephews; Bogie Rosypal of Doylestown, PA and his children, Austin Rosypal and Alexa Rosypal; Henia Wozniak, Alfred Kaczmarek, Wanda Kwiecinska, Wladyslaw Romaniewicz and their families. Regina was the adoptive mother of the late Janusz Nowak and his surviving son Krzysztof Przybyla and grandson Robert Przybyla.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 9:00 - 10:00am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Ave.
