Regina Ballew Pendley, age 66, of Vaughn Road in Spruce Pine passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2026.
Born on July 4, 1959 in Stanley County, she was the daughter of the late Edd Ballew and Judy Ballew who still survives. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Grayson Conley.
Regina was a member of the Emmaus Road Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and singing for the Lord also. She loved her children and grandchildren and was known as a sharing and caring person to everyone. She enjoyed traveling and loved going to Pigeon Forge and spending time there with her family. Due to her birthday being on July 4th, she enjoyed celebrating her birthday on that day.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband, John Henry Pendley, her sons; Tommy Conley and wife, Michelle and Justin Conley and wife, Denisa, her daughter; Jessica Dyson and husband, Kyle, her mother; Judy Ballew, her grandchildren; Hunter, Haven, Holtan, Dawson and Kadan, her stepsons; Roger Pendley and Henry Pendley, her stepdaughters; Sharon McGuire and Amanda Harris, her sisters; Mary Lou Murphy and husband, George, Pam Thompson and husband, Mike and Kellie McKinney and husband, Ricky and her brother; Johnny Ballew and wife, Angie and her fury baby, Max.
Funeral services for Regina Pendley will be on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 4:00 pm at Fairview Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Robinson officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 10, 2026 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Fairview Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery on Seven Mile Ridge Road in Burnsville.
Serving as pallbearers will be; Hunter, Haven, Roger, Henry, Jason, Manoah, and Charles.
Those wishing to send food to the family are asked to deliver it to the home of; Johnny Ballew, 659 Laurel Heights Drive, Burnsville, NC 28714.
Mrs. Pendley’s arrangements have been entrusted to Beam Funeral Service and Crematory of Marion, NC.
