Reginald Wayne Richards, age 93, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2025, in Pascagoula, Mississippi. He was known fondly to friends and family as Reg, Reggie, or Tang.
Born in St. Martin, Mississippi, Reggie was the son of Elmer Joseph Richards, Sr. and Pansy Sticher Richards. He served honorably in the United States Navy during the Korean War era.
Following his military service, Reggie spent over four decades working as a manufacturer’s representative for Howard Wolf. He approached his career with passion and joy, loving every minute of it.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Pansy Richards; his wife of 37 years, Enid Mestier Richards; his brothers, E.J. Richards, James “Sam” Richards, Jackie “Yonk” Richards; and his sister, Norma Quave.
He is survived by his wife, Maralou Richards; four children, Karen Richards Barham (Cleve) of Madison, MS, Wayne Richards Jr. (Leyla) of Spring, TX, Patricia “Trish” Richards Duggan, Ft. Walton Beach, FL; Bruce David Richards of Ocean Springs; grandchildren, Katy Broadus, Shelby Guillotte (Murphy), Ryan Richards (April), Karyna Richards, Malia Gomez (Mark), Pierce Duggan, Laurel Beaudry (David) and Samuel Duggan; 8 great-grandchildren, Rose, Baker, Jay, Autumn, Lily, Wade, Bennett and Cip; step children, Sarah Trailor (Charles), Deborah Fouche (Holt), Marge Galle; and numerous other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 11, 2025 at 10:00 am, with visitation on hour prior at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 13782 Lemoyne Blvd. Biloxi, MS. Interment to follow at Swetman Cemetery in D’Iberville, MS.
