Reginald "TAK" Takamoto, a U. S. Air Force veteran age 87 of Fort Walton Beach, FL, passed away on Sep. 9, 2024. He was born to Hajime and Kimiko Kochi Takamoto on April 16, 1937 in Waipahu, Hawaii. He will be remembered for being a loving brother, uncle, great friend, father, and grandfather. He also shared his love for cars and fishing with everyone. He was always there to lend a hand to friends who needed it. A caring, giving soul, he will be missed by all who knew him. TAK is predeceased by his parents Hajime and Kimiko, sisters Katherine Reece, Alice Moriwaki, Jane Yonemura, and brother Walter Takamoto. He is survived by his son Raymond, sister Constance (Edwin) Tanabe, niece Jan, numerous nieces and nephews, and grandchildren. A celebration of TAK's life will be held at a time that will be determined. Expressions of love and sympathy may be placed and viewed online at www.emeraldcoastfuneralhome.com.
