Reid Pfeiferling Obituary With a spirit that touched so many, Reid Carlin Pfeiferling left us on July 14, 2025, at the age of 25. He is greatly loved by his family and friends and will be missed every day.
Reid was born on June 18, 2000, in Keokuk, Iowa, the son of Michele Shoen and Dean Pfeiferling. He graduated from Hamilton High School in 2018. He was employed with a great team at US Cellular. In his free time, Reid enjoyed gaming, tinkering with computers, riding four wheelers, and bowling. But most of all, he loved new experiences and places. Reid did not know a stranger and his personality was infectious.
Reid is survived by his parents: Dean Pfeiferling (Cheryl Knuffman), Michele Shoen (Brandon); his brother Trent Shoen, his grandparents: June and Carl Pfeiferling, Joe and Vicky Clark, Debbie Donahue, Ron and Lorene Paul, and preceded in death by his grandfather Thomas Shoen; several aunts and uncles: Lorraine Hoover, Jim and Carla Zwicker, Chad and LeeAnn Clark, Andrew and Stephanie Shoen, Joe and Bailey Donahue; and many cousins: Deanna Zwicker, Alyssa (McClain) Robinson, Trenten (Kelsey) Zwicker, Anna (James) Siburn, Grant Clark, Kyle and Adam Hoover, Caleb and Calvin Shoen, Connor and Rhys Donahue.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 am -11:00 am on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Printy Funeral Home, 317 Main Street, Warsaw, Illinois. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am with a burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Reids honor to the Ronald McDonald House or the American Heart Association.
