Reinaldo Irizarry

Ray was my next door neighbor and although we came from 2 completely different backgrounds of life our interests and values coincided made us great friends. A self taught, self made man, about the smartest person I ever knew when it came to auto mechanics, carpentry, home building/remodeling. If he needed a part that didn´t exist, he just made it in his machine shop. Very talented, a remarkable individual and quite a character.
Ray was very family oriented, very polite and respectful, a true gentleman. He was calm under pressure and had difficult health issues for years but never complained. He endured gracefully. Ray had a dry sense of humor, a character that genuinely cracked me up. We laughed a lot and talked and solved many world problems over the years.
I extend my deepest condolences and sympathy for Rays close knit family. It was an honor to be his friend.
