Reinaldo Miguel, affectionately known as "Miguel El Mechanico" to those closest to him, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026, after a courageous battle with heart disease. Born on February 19, 1938, in Camajuaní, Las Villas, Cuba, he was the beloved son of Roberto Miguel and Evelia Rodrigues, who instilled in him a deep appreciation for hard work and kindness.

In January 1973, Reinaldo immigrated to the United States with his spouse and three children, eventually settling in Union City, New Jersey. There, he built a long and successful career as a mechanic, proudly owning and operating his own business before retiring to Florida.

Reinaldo found great joy in repairing cars, fishing, gardening, and attending church. He was also a devoted and active member of the Knights of Columbus, where he dedicated many years of service to his community.

Reinaldo is survived by his loving spouse, Adis Miguel; his daughters, Odalis Miguel and Jessica Balido; his son, Reinaldo Miguel; his grandchildren, Floyd Willis, Faith Willis, Paola Vega, Nicole Balido, Amanda Balido, and Danielle Miguel; and his great-granddaughter, Freya Willis.

Reinaldo will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his generosity, and the deep love he had for his family and community. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Reinaldo Miguel, conocido cariñosamente como "Miguel El Mecánico" por quienes lo conocían de cerca, falleció en paz el 9 de marzo de 2026, tras una valiente batalla contra una enfermedad cardíaca. Nació el 19 de febrero de 1938 en Camajuaní, Las Villas, Cuba, y fue el amado hijo de Roberto Miguel y Evelia Rodrigues, quienes le inculcaron un profundo aprecio por el trabajo duro y la bondad.En enero de 1973, Reinaldo emigró a los Estados Unidos junto a su esposa y sus tres hijos, estableciéndose finalmente en Union City, Nueva Jersey. Allí construyó una larga y exitosa carrera como mecánico, siendo con gran orgullo dueño y operador de su propio negocio, antes de jubilarse y mudarse a Florida.Reinaldo encontraba gran alegría en reparar automóviles, pescar, cuidar su jardín y asistir a la iglesia. También fue un miembro activo y dedicado de los Caballeros de Colón, organización a la que sirvió con compromiso durante muchos años.Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Adis Miguel; sus hijas, Odalis Miguel y Jessica Balido; su hijo, Reinaldo Miguel; sus nietos, Floyd Willis, Faith Willis, Paola Vega, Nicole Balido, Amanda Balido y Danielle Miguel; y su bisnieta, Freya Willis.

Reinaldo será recordado por su fuerte ética de trabajo, su generosidad y el profundo amor que siempre tuvo por su familia y su comunidad. Su memoria vivirá por siempre en los corazones de todos los que lo conocieron y amaron.
