Reita Nadine Hodges

On November 17, 2025, the Lord received Reita Nadine Hodges into eternal glory & embrace, welcoming home a faithful servant whose life was defined by love, devotion, and service.
Reita was born on May 16, 1946, to James Austin & Thelma Gowers, in Clarksville, TX. Reita lived a life centered on Christ, sharing His love through her kindness, compassion, and unwavering faith. As a member of Bellview Baptist Church, Reita lived out her deep devotion to the Lord through faithful prayer, joyful service at church events, and her commitment to Bible study. Reita found great joy in being with her family and was deeply devoted, creating a home full of love, strength, and cherished memories for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Reita enters eternal rest alongside those who preceded her, including her mother, Thelma Howard Gowers; her father, James Arthur Austin; her husband, Ronald Hodges; her sister, Shirley Jewett; her brother-in-law, Walter Jewett; her grandson, Adam Paul Rogers; and her nephew, David Jewett.
Those who remain to celebrate her life include; Daughter - Rhonda McClure and her husband Don, Son - David Hastings and his wife Krista, Daughter - Vicky Hodges, Granddaughter - Jami Hastings, Grandson - Josh Hastings and his wife Jaclyn, and Great Grandsons Maddux & Micah, Granddaughter - Ashley Hastings, Grandson- Justin McClure, Granddaughter - Robin Siper and her husband Danny, and Great Grandsons Samuel & Nathan. Reita's love extended beyond her immediate family to include a wide circle of nieces, nephews, and friends.
May her memory continue to inspire faith, love, and joy in those she leaves behind. Reita's life was a blessing to all who knew her and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
Visitation for Reita Nadine Hodges will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, services will follow 10:00 am, Monday, November 24, 2025 at Bellview Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Friends, and all who knew her are welcome to join in honoring her memory.
