Reitha Ramona Hilton

Reitha Ramona Hilton, age 86, of Aurora, Missouri, passed away at 12:54 p.m. on Friday, March 21, 2025, at Lacoba Nursing Home in Monett, Missouri. She was born October 31, 1938, in Aurora, Missouri, the daughter of Columbus and Ruby (Means) Snider.
Ramona was a 1956 graduate of Aurora High School in Aurora, Missouri. Ramona continued her path of education as a teachers' aid at Robinson Elementary in Aurora and as the Principal for Aurora Christian Academy, also in Aurora. She later worked for Walmart in the men and women's clothing department.
On June 9, 1956, she married Darrell Clayton Hilton, to whom she was married for 63 years before his passing.
Ramona is survived by her two sons, Aaron Hilton and his wife, Sharon of Aurora, Missouri, and Brian Hilton, of Aurora, Missouri; one brother, Christopher Snider and his wife, Janet of Aurora, Missouri; four grandchildren, Mathew Hilton, Victoria Erickson, Baylee Hardimon, and Devon Hilton; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Ramona was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Clayton Hilton; her parents, Columbus and Ruby (Means) Snider and sister, Alicia Hastings.
A visitation will be held from 5:00-6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, in Aurora, with a funeral service to follow at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral chapel. Burial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 27, 2025, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, in Springfield, Missouri.
