Renate Haufmann

Renate Haufmann, resident of Glendale, NY and Scotrun, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully in her Glendale home on January 1,2022 at the age of 98. Renate always put others first and was dedicated to creating a beautiful life for her family. She loved gathering everyone around her dining room table and made certain that everyone's favorite dish had been prepared. She was an inspiration for all who got to know her. Renate was a parishioner of St. Pancras Church for over 70 years. She worked for the New York City Dept of Education for 20+ and always spoke highly of the students who crossed her path. In her retirement days she appreciated her time and traveled back and forth to the Poconos. There, she was very involved with Our Lady of Victory Church and spent much of her time preparing and contributing to the annual bazaar.
Renate was the beloved wife of the late John Haufmann. She is survived by her children Jeffrey and Lorraine Haufmann, Andrea Ferranti, and Denise and Shawn Brosnan. She was a loving grandmother to Danielle, Christine, Jeffrey, Qye, William and Kristin Haufmann, Lisa and Joe Kistinger, Stephen and Rosa Ferranti, Caitlin and Megan Brosnan. She was the beloved great grandmother to Brooke, Adam, Michael, Hailey, Jason, Briella, Julia, Kaelyn, Gianna and Ava.
To say she will be missed by all is an understatement.
