Rene was a devoted family man who cherished his connections with loved ones. He found immense joy in staying in touch, regularly calling family and friends to share updates and offer words of encouragement. His keen interest in current events was reflected in his daily consumption of news and sports, and he spent many happy hours browsing the internet, keeping up with the world and connecting with others online. A loyal viewer of his favorite programs, he never missed an episode of "The Price is Right," finding pleasure in the familiar routines and friendly competition.

Rene was known for his willingness to offer advice and guidance, always lending a listening ear and sharing his wisdom with those he cared for. His kind heart, gentle nature, and unwavering support enriched the lives of everyone who knew him. He will be remembered not only for his love of family and friends but also for his thoughtful actions and his enduring spirit.

Rene's greatest joy was his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, deeply mourned by his children, Maria Fernandez and her husband Saul, Rene Fernandez and his wife Yanet, and Jorge Fernandez and his wife Milagros. He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren, Franklin Warens, Michael Mendoza, Elizabeth Fernandez, Alicia Fernandez, Christian Fernandez, and Alejandro Fernandez, who brought immeasurable light to his life.
