It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of our beloved father, Rene Ramirez, who left this world on April 30, 2025. A true hero in every sense, he was a dedicated husband, a loving father, a proud tata, and a cornerstone of strength and wisdom for all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Rene devoted 35 remarkable years to the City of Tucson, embodying hard work, commitment, and unwavering integrity. His life was a testament to selflessness, as he constantly prioritized the well-being of his family, ensuring they had everything they needed and more. Through his many acts of love, he taught us the true significance of loyalty, family, and togetherness.

Renowned for his warm smile and infectious laughter, Rene created joy for everyone around him. His engaging conversations and thoughtful spirit had a unique way of leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path.

Music brought him immense joy; in his youth, he played in a band, a passion that remained close to his heart throughout his life. This deep love for music has now become a treasured legacy, beautifully woven into the lives of his children and grandchildren. Each time they hear the melodies of the oldies he cherished, they can feel their father's spirit—his laughter echoing through the notes, filling their hearts with warmth and connection.

Rene also embraced a spirited competitive nature, enjoying football, baseball, and playing horseshoes with his family, activities that not only brought excitement but also fostered deep bonds and unforgettable memories.

Now, he is reunited in Heaven with the love of his life, Norma Ramirez, who passed away in 2019. Their beautiful love story continues to flourish beyond this world.

Rene leaves behind his treasured four children: Rene Ramirez Jr., Priscilla Ramirez (Nick), Jennifer Ramirez, and Sergio Ramirez (Katrina). He also leaves a legacy in his beloved grandchildren: Jeremiah, Destiny, Seriah, Josiah, Serenity, Kamelia, Romeo, Mya, Daniel, and baby Angel, as well as countless family members and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

Though Rene Ramirez will be profoundly missed, his love, lessons, and enduring legacy will live on within us all. Thank you, Rene, for the light you brought into our lives. Your spirit will guide us always.
