Rene Tames Obituary
Rene worked in construction as a roofer. He was a member of the Bethel Methodist Episcopal Church in Adrian. Rene loved fishing, cooking, singing and listening to music. He was creative and loved to draw and write poetry. He brought joy to his family and friends with his great sense of humor, always keeping a smile on not only himself but everyone around him.
Rene is survived by his mother, Margarita Tames of Jackson; his children, Raquel Medrano, Viviana Tames, Armando Tames, Daisie Tames, Bianca Tames, Rolando Tames and Lorena Tames all of Adrian; brother, Charles Tames of Sweetwater, TX; sisters, Margie Dyer of Jackson and Pauline Wright of Adrian; and a grandchild, Aniah Renee Edwards. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Miguel Tames.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 15th 2024 at Bethel Methodist Episcopal Church from 1pm to 4pm and a celebration of Renee's life will be held at Island Park where there will be a candle lighting and dinner provided. Memorial contributions may be made to the family's Go Fund Me Account.
