Renee L. Crandall, 56 of Dowagiac, MI passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Corewell Lakeland Hospital in Niles, MI. Renee was born February 14, 1969, in Dowagiac, MI to Larry and Joan Waldschmidt.
Renee worked for several years at Whirlpool in St. Joseph Michigan. She worked for several years as the office manager at Groner Funeral Home in Dowagiac, Mi and Yazel-Clark Funeral Home in Dowagiac, MI. She enjoyed forming a collection of trinkets and making crafts. Renee had a heart of gold, she would do anything for anyone, and she loved everyone. Renee loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Renee is survived by her son Daniel Crandall, JR of Dowagiac, MI; her grandchildren, Abigail Crandall, Avery Crandall, Ryker Crandall and Paisley Crandall; her mom, Joan Waldschmidt of Dowagiac, MI; her brother, Rodney Waldschmidt and her niece Emily Waldschmidt. Renee was preceded in death by her dad, Larry Waldschmidt.
Visitation will be held from 10 am- 1pm on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Wagner Family Funerals Connelly Chapel, 202 North Broadway Street, Cassopolis, MI 49031 where funeral services will be held at 1pm. Renee will be laid to rest at South Wayne Cemetery by her dad, Larry.
