Renee Farmer Obituary
Renee is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Kent Farmer, of Vale, NC; a daughter, Melissa (Nelson) Jenkins, of Vale, NC; a son, Ryan (Chesney) Farmer, of Sylva, NC; brothers, Thomas (Ann) Braswell, of Charleston, SC; Stewart Braswell, of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Keegan Jenkins, of Moab, Utah, Cooper Jenkins, of Raleigh, NC, Olivia and Naomi Jenkins, of Vale, NC, Ethan and Juliana Farmer, of Sylva, NC; a dear friend, Joe Guilot, of Charlotte, NC; aunts, Anita Stewart and Barbara Stewart, of Four Oaks, NC; and numerous cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2025, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Cherryville, NC. Visitation is from 12:45 p.m. until 1:45 p.m., prior to the service. Burial will be private.
Memorials may be made to Canine Companions canine.org; Lewy Body Dementia Association ibda.org; or Anxiety and Depression Association of America adaa.org.

Dear Kent and Family,
I am at a loss of words and certainly saddened to hear this news. Renee was just the best roommate ever to have in nursing school. Never a dull moment with Renee around. Many
memories of her and that Volkswagen !! I am sorry that we lost touch. My condolences to you and the family. Will keep you all in my prayers.
