Rennick "Rick" Grass, age 71, of Warsaw, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on February 18, 2026, in Warsaw, Indiana. He was born on September 8, 1954 in Quebec City, Canada to Wendell and Arlene (McClintic) Grass. He married Cheryl Bruner on August 30, 1996.
Rick is survived by his devoted wife, Cheryl Grass, who stood by him through the joys and challenges of life. Together, they raised a remarkable family that includes their children: Sharista (Jason) Branham of Burket, IN; Matt (Aulbrey) Jones of Mentone, IN; and Melody Jones of Seattle, WA. Rick's legacy is further enriched by the love of his two grandsons, Brady and Lukas and four step-grandchildren, Dylan, Morgan, Lauren and Bryce, all of whom he cherished deeply. In addition to his immediate family, Rick leaves behind dear relatives including his sisters, Dodi (Larry) Ruff of Warsaw; Tina (Ron) Sayger of Rochester; and Becky (Larry) Carlson of Warsaw. Their bonds were filled with laughter and warmth, creating lasting memories that will be cherished by all. Rick was preceded in death by his parents, whose influence shaped the man he became.
As friends and family remember Rick, they celebrate a life well-lived and an individual who touched countless hearts. The impact of his presence will not be forgotten, and his memory will continue to resonate within the lives of those who knew and loved him. The family is grieving privately.
