Reta Isabelle (Albrecht) Spannbauer age 90, passed away peacefully at her home in Lake Elmo on December 23, 2024. Reta was born on August 28, 1934 in Mendota Heights Minnesota. She graduated from Mechanic Arts High School and on October 17, 1953 she was united in marriage to Charles John Spannbauer. Reta was a dedicated wife and mother who took pride in raising her daughter Lisa and being the neighborhood "mother" to all the kids. Her love, kindness and compassion touched all who knew her. Her favorite hobby was gardening, she spent countless hours in her backyard which was full of beautiful flowers every year. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Spannbauer, brothers Sonny Albrecht, MaryEllen Feidt and Frank Albrecht. She is survived by her daughter Lisa Spannbauer, special friend Brenda Sather, and many nieces and nephews. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
