Helen Marie, So many memories have been surrounding me these last few days - some sad but mostly happy and some hysterically funny. SO many laughs - those years at Bonnetsville. Retha was a force to be reckoned with. Even though I didn't see you two as often as I would have liked you always have and always will have a very special place in my heart and in my memories.
Hope to see you soon so we can spend some time talking, laughing, and crying.
I'm so sorry for your loss - but Retha is probably cutting up and having all her family and friends in heaven rolling on the floor laughing. I love you.

Anyone who knew Aunt Retha would be certain to mention her quick wit! She was always fun and very loving. I always cherished her and Helen's visits to see me when I came to Mama's house to visit after I moved to SC. I love you and you will always remain in my heart and stored in my best family memories.
