Reuben R Miller

Reuben R. Miller, 78, passed away on October 9, 2023. He was born May 14, 1945 to the late Roman and Amanda (Overholt) Miller in Hartville, Ohio. Formerly of Goshen, Indiana, he relocated to Sarasota, Florida in 1979 to bring his gift of teaching music from Clinton Christian School to Sarasota Christian School. Reuben also owned R & R Service Landscape and Maintenance Company.
Reuben had a passion for learning and teaching, especially when it came to studying the Bible, music and restoring classic cars. He also enjoyed arranging music and spending time with his family and dogs.
Left to cherish Reuben's memory are his children; Rod Miller and his wife Jessica; Wynette Nolt and her husband Brendan; Randy Miller and his wife Jenn; and Reggie Miller; siblings John Henry Miller and his wife Kathryn; Paul Miller and his wife Rachel; Ruth Schrock and her husband Ray; and Lois Sinegar and her husband Steve; grandchildren Grayden, Rowen, Jeremiah, Ben, Sam, Joanna, Kaelin, Reece, Avery, and Zahra.
Preceding Reuben in death are his parents Roman and Amanda Miller; wife Wilma; sisters Mary (stillborn) and Delilah; and brother David.
Visitations will be Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm and Sunday, October 15, 2023 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at Palm Grove Mennonite Church, 1087 S. Beneva Road, Sarasota, Florida 34232. Funeral will begin at 3:00 pm followed by interment in Bethel Mennonite Church Cemetery, 2985 Bethel Lane, Sarasota, Florida 34240.
