Reverend Harrison Henry Hill age 82 of Maryville went home to be with the Lord after a short illness. He was a devoted and faithful Christian, and Pastor for over 50 years. He was member of Ridge View Baptist Church. Harrison loved the Lord, his church, his kids, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Harrison pastored 3 churches in Blount County, Macadonia Baptist, Friendly Hill Baptist and Mountain View Baptist. Harrison worked for Hill Brothers Masonry Contractor for over 40yrs with his 3 brothers and finally retiring from Anderson Lumber Company. He was Preceded in death by: Parents, Henry & Kate Hill, Wife Nancy Lee Hill; Brother Mike Hill; Sisters Lucille Harkleroad, Henrietta Hill; brother in laws Rev. Obie Campbell and Dwight Goins. Survivors include: Daughter & Son-in-law, Charlene & Brent Bailey of Maryville; Sons & Daughters-in-law, Duane & Kristi Hill of Maryville and Darrell & Tammy Hill of Knoxville. Grandchildren & Spouses Eric, Ryan(Holly),Megan(Drew), Brady(Brittany), Parker (Halcyon),Austin (Courtney),Riley. Great Grandchildren Drakely, Lainey, Brooks, Beau, Blaine, Audrey, Eleanor, and Samuel. Sisters and Brother In Law; Dora Campbell,Julia Goins, Ruth & Allen Jones. Brothers/Sisters in-law Ronnie & Velma Hill, Eddie & Phyllis Hill & sister in law Sharon Hill, as well as several nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the Amedisys Hospice Care nurses Caitlyn & Emily and Social Worker Kris. Receiving of friends will be held at Smith Funeral Home Trinity Chapel from 4pm to 7pm, Wednesday Aug. 13, 2025 with the funeral service at 7:00 pm with Rev. Wayne Sexton officiating. Interment will be Thursday, Aug. 14, 2025 at 11:00 AM, at Grandview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandsons. Condolences may be shared through Smith Funeral & Cremation Service.
