Had I known that my dear friend was I'll I would have been to visit. I was his secretary for seven years while he was at Gladeview. We kept in touch through the years. I'm sad that he won't be around to preach my funeral. I love him dearly. He was a great guy.

I loved my phone calls and cards from Janet. She was calmness personified. We taught second grade together. When I didn't get my annual Christmas season phone call, after missing her call a whole year before, I was tardy reaching out to Jerry. I feel so sad I didn't call her back. I had lost my soul mate in 2021 so it was despairing to discover Janet passed away and now I find Jerry is gone too. Finally sent out Christmas cards and theirs came back. I can picture Jerry and Eno talking on the deck at our Colorado home when Janet and Jerry made a trip out West and stopped by. My husband and Jerry got along well. Janet occasionally called my mom and Mom loved hearing from Janet. Tickled me they had an extended friendship. I just want to put it out into the atmosphere, I loved my friend Janet. She was a delight and aura of sweetness and calm. She was so proud of her boys. Farewell, dear Janet and Jerry.

I just learned of Bro. Jerry's passing yesterday. Had I known in time several of us would have been there. I served Bro. Jerry as his secretary for almost seven years and grew to love and respect him greatly. The world is a smaller place without him. I'll grieve his absence for a long time.
