Rev. Merlin Nelson Obituary
Rev. Nelson was a devoted father and grandfather and beloved servant of God.
Rev. Nelson is survived by his daughters, Ollie Mae Fowler and Lora Lee Biggers; his grandchildren, James Scarboro (Nitza), Tammy Congiardo (Tony), Nycole Phillips (Jeremy), Nicholas Biggers, Kasey Biggers and Josh Reed; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Amanda Nelson; his parents, Noah Nelson and Verna Nelson; and his daughter, Flora Lee Nelson Kuntsman.
The service for Rev. Merlin Nelson will be held on Tuesday, March 12 at 12 PM from the chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Leon Graves officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be on Monday, March 11 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 10:00 AM - 12:00 service time.
The family have entrusted Woodard Funeral Home, Westmoreland, TN with the arrangements of their loved one.
