Funeral services for Revers Shears, 82 of Lawrence will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary 120 W. 13th St. in Lawrence. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lawrence. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the mortuary.
Revers was born February 24, 1943, in Hollandale, Mississippi, the son of Kelly and Minnie (Wallace) Shears.
He went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 28, 2025 at his home.
