Rex was a maintenance worker for the city of War, WV.
In addition to his father, he is survived by; Fiancée Brenda Bolen of War, WV: daughter, Arial Bauer of Independence, MO; step-daughter, Brandy Hicks of War, WV and step-son, Shawn Green of War, WV, sisters; Patricia Foster and husband, Walter Matney of Collinsville, VA and Darcy Carson of NY; brothers, David Nelson, and wife, Waddie of Millers Creek, NC, Willie Nelson, and Charlie Nelson both of Collinsville, VA; Nieces, Patricia Bush of Wilkesboro, NC and her daughter Leah Clonkin, Brittany Nelson and Eureka Nelson; nephews, Charles Nelson of Collinsville, VA, J.R. Nelson, and Little David Nelson.
Funeral services for Mr. Carson will be conducted Friday, April 8, 2022, at the Little Country Church on Main Street in War, WV at 11:00 a.m. with Pastors Mary Boyd and Barbara Holt officiating. Interment will follow at Grose Family Cemetery in War Cove, WV.
The family will receive friends at the Little Country Church in War, WV Thursday, April 7, 2022, from 6 to 9 p.m.
